The Supervisor of the Wealth Management Sales Development Team will lead a team of 4+ individuals that are responsible for generating qualified B2B and B2B2C leads that result in sales. The supervisor is also expected to generate qualified leads by communicating appropriate offerings based on client needs and be able to identify opportunities beyond Wealth Management offerings.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Sales leaders within the organization to understand B2B and B2B2C goals and determine best methods to generate qualified leads.
  • Mentor and inspire a team of 4+ individuals to meet established Sales Goals through the Identification, Contacting, and Qualifying of sales leads.
  • Responsible for coaching and directing day to day activities for assigned team.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for their team, training the team on Wealth Management offerings, and assisting with complex or escalated issues.
  • Focus on balance between both client and business needs.
  • Establish and track goals associated with the generation of qualified sales leads and relationship development and report results to Wealth Management and Sales leaders.
  • Contact corporate clients to build meaningful and long lasting relationships to generate qualified B2B and B2B2C sales leads though outbound calls, email, webinars, site visits, and conferences.
  • Responsible for account management on assigned accounts at the branch level.
  • Work closely with Wealth Management Specialist to ensure qualified leads result in sales and meeting revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales and CSS/CSM to meet client and business needs.
  • Schedule and conduct Wealth Management webinars and follow up with attendees to generate qualified sales leads.
  • Partner with National Account Director to ensure established goals are met.
  • Proactively reach out to assigned clients to schedule and attend site visits.
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure appropriate collateral is used for trade shows and site visits.
  • Work with Implementation and CSS/CSM to request the creation of discount codes and portals for corporate client.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
  • 2 years sales experience and​ at least 1 year​ leadership/management experience
  • Proven Leadership/Management training/skills
  • Must be competent in SalesForce
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective small group presentation skills both in a live setting and via webinars.
  • Hands on experience with multiple sales techniques.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time (air/rail/car/overnight).
  • Ability to successfully collaborate and influence without authority.

For full-time positions, Kaplan has two Salary Grades. This position is Salary Grade B: $64,000 - $100,000. The specific compensation offered will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, and market data.
