About the Role
The Field Placement Coordinator provides comprehensive support to students seeking field placement and/or supplemental supervision for the Master of Social Work Program in the School of Arts and Sciences. Responsibilities include coordinating student placements, implementing procedures and policies for field education, maintaining agency and community partnerships, and providing guidance and logistical support to students, faculty, field agencies, and supervisors. The Coordinator works closely with the Director of Field Education, Assistant Field Directors, Faculty Field Liaisons, MSW Program Director, Field Practicum Specialist, Social Work staff, and agency supervisors to ensure the effective placement, supervision, and support of all MSW students.

Machines, Tools, Equipment, Electronic Devices and Software: Strong competence in Microsoft Office is expected. Knowledge of SharePoint, Excel, Data Collection/Analysis, and Sonia is preferred.

Unless otherwise indicated, work hours are based on Pacific Time (PST). Employees must be available for collaboration during core hours from 10am to 3pm (PST).
The hiring range for this position is $21.00 - $23.60 per hour. Offers are determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographical location, knowledge, skills, years & depth of experience, and equity with internal team members.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Working conditions are generally normal for an office environment. Position may be required to work flexible hours given the varied availabilities of field site agency personnel and other stakeholders. California residency is preferred, as travel within California is required approximately 1-4 times a year Applicants for this position are subject to a background check and a criminal history review.
