Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (CA License Required)
Start Date: January 5
Location: San Francisco Bay Area, California
Celebrations Speech Group is hiring a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based assignment in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, starting January 5. This is a remote position supporting students across grade levels within a collaborative Special Education team.
This role is ideal for an SLP with strong experience in virtual service delivery, case management, SLPA supervision, and SEIS documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based therapy plans, goals, and therapeutic treatment for speech/language disorders.
- Conduct virtual assessments, evaluations, and standardized testing for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders.
- Manage a caseload, including case management and service documentation
- Attend, facilitate, and write legally compliant and defensible IEPs
- Provide supervision for an SLPA as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Attend training as requested, collaborate, and provide support to other SPED teachers/specialists as well as GE staff.
Qualifications:
- REQUIRED: Current SLP License valid in the state of California
- Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Must be able to work Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours
- Previous experience supervising SLP Assistant (SLPAs)
- Experience administering virtual assessments
- Strong experience with case management, IEP writing, and SEIS
- Exercise good judgment in prioritization - complete assigned tasks without supervision
- Excellent written skills and efficient verbal communication at all organizational levels
