Accountabilities:

As a Solutions Engineer, you will:

  • Serve as a technical advisor to higher education clients, understanding their needs and proposing effective solutions.
  • Build deep expertise in learning platforms, ensuring practical knowledge to configure and demonstrate solutions.
  • Conduct needs analyses, design tailored solutions, and create compelling, value-oriented presentations.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to support proposals, demos, and presentations across a range of stakeholders from faculty to executives.
  • Provide feedback to product management based on client use cases and emerging trends.
  • Develop technical documentation and resources to support clients and internal teams.
  • Attend client meetings, conferences, and presentations as needed, managing travel and flexible work hours.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Brightspace user, either as an administrator or instructor.
  • Experience in higher education or edtech roles, with familiarity in learning management systems (LMS) integration.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex educational and technical concepts clearly.
  • High engagement in both in-person and virtual environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with professional remote work capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple objectives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel 25-50% and work across various North American time zones.
