THE OPPORTUNITY:

We’re hiring Brisk’s first-ever Product Marketer - a strategic, hands-on leader who will define what great product marketing looks like from the ground up.

​​We’re in one of the fastest-growing, competitive spaces in EdTech and we need a stellar, inventive product marketer who can help Brisk stand out, shape the category, and show the world why educators love what we’ve built.

As the Senior Manager, Product Marketing, you’ll be both a builder and a doer: developing Brisk’s positioning across teacher and administrator audiences, running go-to-market for every launch, and leading cross-functional GTM work across marketing, product, and sales.

This is a people management role, overseeing part of the broader marketing team, while being the sole product marketing specialist. You’ll build the blueprint for product marketing at Brisk - driving the strategies, stories, and systems that help our brand stand out, scale fast, and make a lasting mark in education.

YOU WILL:

Own positioning and messaging

  • Define and refine Brisk’s value story across teacher and administrator audiences.
  • Build differentiated messaging frameworks that clearly articulate Brisk’s impact and competitive advantage.
  • Ensure consistency and clarity across campaigns, website, and customer communications.

Lead go-to-market strategy

  • Own the GTM strategy and execution for every launch - from new tools to feature updates to new product lines - building integrated plans that align Product, Marketing, and Sales around clear goals, sharp messaging, and measurable impact.
  • Partner with Product to shape roadmap priorities and ensure launches are positioned for success.
  • Collaborate across Marketing and customer-facing teams to bring launches to life across all channels.
  • Optimize conversion, activation, and engagement metrics to drive measurable growth and continuously improve go-to-market performance.

Drive adoption and enablement

  • Partner closely with Brisk’s Sales Enablement lead to ensure new product stories and messages are carried through sales materials, training, and internal comms.
  • Lead adoption efforts in collaboration with Customer Success and Lifecycle Marketing.

Understand the market and customer

  • Lead research to uncover insights about educator and administrator needs, finding creative ways to stay close to our users and bring their voices into every launch.
  • Analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to guide product direction and inspire fresh, differentiated messaging.

Build for scale

  • Establish the foundations of great product marketing at Brisk - launch templates, messaging playbooks, and cross-functional alignment processes.
  • Manage and mentor team members on the marketing team, fostering collaboration and excellence.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the PMM function and shape its future growth.

YOU HAVE:

  • 7–10 years of product marketing experience, ideally in SaaS or EdTech.
  • Proven success running end-to-end launches and owning positioning across multiple audiences.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills - you can turn complexity into clarity and motivate action.
  • Experience managing team members.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional workstreams with influence and collaboration.
  • Balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • A passion for improving education and making teachers’ lives easier through technology.
