This is a part time temporary contractor position from June 15th through September 30th that will pay $25.00 per hour.

The School Improvement Partner works alongside principals and instructional teams to support
the implementation of school improvement priorities focused on strengthening instructional
practice and student learning outcomes. This role supports teachers through instructional
guidance, data-informed reflection, and implementation support, with an emphasis on improving
teaching and learning within core content areas, particularly mathematics.


The School Improvement Partner does not supervise or evaluate teachers. Instead, the role serves
as a collaborative support and thought partner, helping school leaders and teachers translate
improvement goals into consistent instructional practice.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Instructional Support & Coaching


• Support teachers and grade-level or course teams in strengthening instructional practices
aligned to core content standards
• Work with teachers to improve instructional effectiveness through the use of researchbased
strategies and sound instructional design
• Demonstrate, model, and support the use of effective teaching strategies as appropriate
• Utilize a coaching cycle to support teacher reflection, growth, and instructional
improvement

Data Analysis & Instructional Alignment


• Analyze student performance data, instructional data, and other relevant information to
identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement
• Support principals and instructional teams in using data to inform instructional planning
and decision-making
• Provide guidance to teachers and school leaders regarding instructional implications of
student performance data

Professional Learning Support


• Support the implementation of site-based professional learning aligned to school improvement priorities
• Assist principals in reinforcing instructional expectations and professional learning focus areas
• Participate in professional learning activities to maintain current knowledge of effective instructional practices


Collaboration & Implementation Support
• Collaborate with principals to support consistent implementation of improvement strategies across classrooms
• Support instructional teams in problem-solving implementation challenges and identifying practical next steps
• Share effective instructional practices and strategies across teams as appropriate
Additional Responsibilities
• Participate in meetings and planning sessions as requested by school leadership
• Perform other duties related to school improvement support as assigned by the principal
Qualifications
• Experience in K–12 instruction, instructional coaching, or school improvement
• Strong understanding of effective teaching and learning practices
• Experience analyzing and using student data to inform instruction
• Ability to support adult learning through coaching and collaboration
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
