As a Learning Experience Designer II, you will craft engaging, technology-enhanced learning solutions that elevate employee performance and development. You will design immersive instructional materials, including eLearning modules, virtual instructor-led sessions, videos, and interactive content that align with organizational goals. Collaborating closely with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams, you will ensure learning experiences are learner-centric, visually appealing, and highly effective. This role combines creativity, instructional strategy, and technical skills to deliver impactful educational programs. You will also maintain and enhance learning platforms and digital resources, ensuring consistent branding and high usability across all learning assets.
Accountabilities:
· Conduct needs assessments to identify performance gaps and learner requirements.
· Design and develop curriculum, course outlines, and instructional plans aligned with business objectives.
· Create instructional materials such as presentations, guidebooks, job aids, videos, eModules, and simulations to support learning outcomes.
· Apply instructional strategies and learning theories to develop engaging and impactful learning experiences.
· Integrate technology tools and multimedia resources into instructional content for maximum learner engagement.
· Maintain and update digital learning platforms, including SharePoint and LMS systems.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of learning initiatives with organizational goals.
· Evaluate learning effectiveness through assessments and feedback, refining content as needed.
· Stay current on learning design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
· Bachelor’s degree in Learning Experience Design, Instructional Design, or a related discipline; alternative combinations of education and experience considered.
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in learning design with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate (Storyline/Rise), Vyond, Canva, Microsoft Office, HTML/CSS, CMS, and related tools.
· Strong portfolio demonstrating design of instructor-led, web-based, and multimedia learning content.
· Experience creating and managing learning objects within an LMS.
· Videography and video editing skills (camera, lighting, sound) are required.
· Excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
· Preferred: Knowledge of the automotive/trucking industry, fleet maintenance, mechanical aptitude, and experience incorporating branding and design consistency into learning content.
· Competitive base salary ranging from $59,600.00 to $89,400.00, with potential incentive programs.
· Hybrid work schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
