This position is responsible for creating and maintaining effective systems for managing assigned academic programs, e.g. advanced placement, academic probation, etc. for the school so that it may operate in a manner that ensures universal achievement for its students.

This is a full-time REMOTE position. Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.

  • Create and maintain effective systems for managing assigned academic programs for the school including:
  • Stakeholder communication, e.g. parents, administrators, teachers, external agencies
  • Data collection and tracking
  • Administrative tasks and documentation, including but not limited to scheduling meetings, mailings, document translations, etc.
  • Data disaggregation and analysis
  • Communicate trends with campus leadership and TXSS leadership
  • Make recommendations for next steps
  • Operate from a belief and confidence that each student can achieve at high levels by:
  • Ensuring that each student in the program achieves academic success
  • Partnering with special programs to ensure each student's academic and social needs are met
  • Exercising strong problem solving skills; exercising both creative and analytical thinking
  • Support in-person state testing.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field of study AND
  • Three (3) years of teaching experience OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates and Licenses: Valid Texas Teacher certificate.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Highly proficient/expert in Microsoft Excel; Medium/average proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time
  • Ability to clear required background check

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with action planning based on data analysis
