Online High School Math Teacher (CI/PEC Role)

Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and student-focused Online High School Math Teacher to join our virtual team. This role combines responsibilities as both a Course Instructor (CI) and Personalized Education Coach (PEC), supporting students academically while providing individualized guidance and mentorship.

The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and enthusiastic about online learning, with a strong commitment to student success.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality online instruction and personalize lessons to meet individual student needs
• Monitor student progress and provide timely, meaningful feedback
• Develop and support Personalized Education Plans (PEPs)
• Communicate regularly with students and families, including progress updates and conferences
• Provide academic coaching, goal setting, and ongoing student support
• Collaborate with parents, counselors, and staff on academic planning and graduation pathways
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation in school systems
• Conduct onboarding for new students and support engagement through meetings and homeroom sessions
• Offer live instructional support and intervention when needed
• Participate in team collaboration, professional development, and school initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Teaching certification preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience (online/virtual experience preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online learning platforms
• Ability to build strong relationships with students and families in a virtual environment
