Minimum Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience providing student support, instruction, or assessment evaluation; student or graduate teaching roles must be consecutive 2 years.
• Proven ability to work effectively with diverse learner profiles.
• Experience in software development (coding and/or debugging) within the past 12 months. (please indicate in a cover letter how you meet this qualification). Applications without a cover letter will not be considered!!
Preferred Qualifications:
• Terminal degree and possession of all applicable domain-specific licenses or certifications.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix and/or proficiency in C++.
• Significant experience with distance education and supporting distance learning students
Work Schedule:
· This position requires 40 hours per week (consistent weekly schedule)
· 6 hours to be completed after 5 p.m., over 2 days (in your time zone)
· 4 hours to be completed during 1 weekend day (either Saturday or Sunday)
Travel Requirements:
Primarily works remote within the continental United States but is available to travel to meetings as required. As opportunities arise, it is expected to attend School/College Summits or other events because it provides professional development and networking opportunities, as well as staying updated with initiatives at WGU.
