Job Description
Impact and Scope:
The Kaplan Faculty Member is a qualified law professor or legal expert/practitioner who, on a part time basis, is responsible for course delivery in their specified subject area. The Kaplan Faculty Member delivers excellent classroom experiences through a lecture with interactive question based review as needed. Faculty adhere to the course curriculum, position themselves as Bar Exam experts, and employ effective classroom management acumen.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Successful completion of Kaplan Bar’s Information tutorial, which consists of instruction regarding classroom management techniques and skills, including, but not limited to:
- Excellent teaching skills and; ability to engage students through high energy levels, and adaptability of teaching style to the learning needs of the students
- Creation of a well-organized classroom environment in which the students are engaged
- Combination of a confident, approachable, and professional image
Requirements:
- JD degree
- Active BAR Lice
- Ability to teach classes as assigned by Kaplan Bar Review Director of Academics
- Teaching experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
