The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for developing strategic marketing initiatives to attract, engage, and retain financial services professionals and working across teams to execute. This person should be an expert in the market and our target audiences, and possesses a deep understanding of the financial services educational landscape. We are looking for a customer focused team member with strong strategy and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and leverage deep business understanding and strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, partnering with Product, Sales, and Marketing leaders.

  • Develop compelling solution positioning that aligns with buyer personas and highlights value propositions that are competitively differentiated.

  • Provide marketing support for strategic partnerships, and other key initiatives for the channel; creation of sales tools, training materials, and compelling content and collateral including customer presentations, flyers/brochures, proposal templates, and case studies that help our Corporate Sales team create and close pipeline.

  • Develop and implement forward thinking, out-of-the-box ideas to increase market share

  • Understanding student needs in their educational journey; from exams to career advancement as well as the needs of the educators and administrators supporting students on that journey

  • Collaborate with the content marketing team to leverage demand gen best practices to create a rich marketing-sourced sales pipeline, apply effective lead nurture strategies, and deliver high conversion to sales.

  • Support the marketing vision for the brand, including brand positioning, key differentiators and customer engagement strategies

  • Being the go-to marketing expert for external competitive offerings

  • Responsible for KPIs/goals for contact engagement, lead generation, lead qualification and other initiatives in collaboration with marketing channel owners

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience with a focus on B2B strategies

  • In depth knowledge of the post-secondary educational landscape

  • Experience marketing to specific segments including students, gatekeepers and community organizations

  • Analytical skills, able to interpret multiple data sets to identify trends

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Strong experience with email marketing techniques and technologies. Prior experience with Salesforce preferred.

  • Strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PP

  • Strong written and verbal skills including ability to synthesize concepts and develop content

For full-time positions, Kaplan has two Salary Grades, this position is a Salary Grade B: $64,000 - $202,600. Actual compensation for this role is determined by several factors including but not limited to job level, candidate's skills, experience, and education, among other factors determined by the business.
