General Information:


The Department of Computer Science at James Madison University is seeking an adjunct to teach a graduate-level Special Topics in Cybersecurity class during the Spring, 2025 semester (January 21 - May 15, 2025). Pay will depend on the number of students enrolled: $5,000 for 3-4 students, $8,000 for 5-7 students, and $11,000 for 8 or more students.


 


Duties and Responsibilities:


The class will be offered asynchronously and 100% online using the Canvas learning management system. The topic of the course will be one of the following (or similar): Malware Analysis, Mobile Security, AI for Security, Database Security, Formal Methods for Security.


 


Qualifications:


Successful candidates will have substantial expertise in the field of Cybersecurity. An MS degree, or comparable work experience, is required. A doctoral degree is preferred.
