What You’ll Do:

As a Lead Technical Recruiter (Talent Acquisition Partner), you’ll work directly with stakeholders, business partners, and leaders to oversee hiring needs. You’ll focus on creating a personalized and engaging experience for candidates while building strong relationships with both internal teams and external prospects. Your role will involve recruiting for senior-level and challenging roles, presenting effectively in various settings, and using data and technology to improve our recruitment process.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and business leaders to define hiring needs and manage position budgets.

  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract uniquely qualified candidates.

  • Provide a personalized hiring experience by building strong relationships and influencing outcomes.

  • Ensure a unique and engaging candidate experience, relating well with candidates at all levels.

  • Recruit effectively for senior and complex roles and present well in various formal settings.

  • Identify and organize networking opportunities, job fairs, and virtual events to attract candidates.

  • Represent the organization with professionalism and build rapport both internally and externally.

  • Use advanced knowledge and technology to enhance recruitment processes and maintain the talent brand.

  • Utilize social media and data to solve talent gaps and measure recruitment success.

  • Adapt to change, champion organizational culture, and support cross-functional needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities You’ll Need to Be Successful:

  • Stay informed on current and future talent trends and develop strategies to address talent gaps.

  • Navigate ambiguity with resourcefulness and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

  • Handle day-to-day challenges independently while providing cross-functional support.

  • Manage time efficiently, balancing multiple priorities and delivering results quickly.

  • Be flexible and adaptable, maintaining balance regardless of opposing viewpoints.

  • Build rapport and communicate effectively with stakeholders and senior management.

  • Demonstrate strong written communication skills and act credibly across all organizational levels.

  • Understand key organizational policies and initiatives.

What Is Required:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.

  • Experience recruiting for senior-level roles.

  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

  • Understanding of employment law.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Broad knowledge of project management.

  • Experience with Workday and position management.

  • AIRS or SourceCon Certification.

  • Certified Staffing Professional (CSP).

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or a related field.

  • Understanding of compensation philosophy and job leveling.

The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Pay Range: $97,100.00 - $145,600.00
