We are seeking virtual Speech-Language Pathologists for school-based Assignments in PA to join our team in assessing, treating, and managing speech-language caseloads of all grade levels. Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based therapy plans, goals, and therapeutic treatment for speech/language disorders.
- Evaluate and implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders.
- Case Management for students on caseload
- Attend, facilitate, and write legally compliant/defensible IEPs
- Provide supervision for a CF or SLPA if needed or as appropriate.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Attend training as requested, collaborate, and provide support to other SPED teachers/specialists as well as GE staff.
- Limited travel estimated to be less than 20% of the time for community events, professional development, and state testing.
Qualifications:
- REQUIRED: Current SLP License valid in the state of Pennsylvania
- Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders
- All state & federal clearances required by PDE for school-based personnel
- Experience supervising SLP Assistant (SLPA)
- Familiarity with administering virtual assessments
- Experience with Case Management, IEP Writing, & SEIS
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania Special Education law & regulations
- Must have a strong desire to work with a wide array of populations
- Exercise good judgment in prioritization - complete assigned tasks without supervision
- Ability to build rapport with staff
- Excellent written skills and efficient verbal communication at all organizational levels
