Position Description: Must be highly knowledgeable about a Contracting Officer’s (CO) roles and responsibilities in the acquisition process and present that knowledge while giving examples, engaging with the students, and encouraging course participation. Primary Duties:- Present an instructor led virtual training course covering the practical application, implementation, and utilization of federal government or private industry policies, procedures, standards, and practices for acquisition professionals.
- Create or modify content for the course.
- Monitor students’ participation closely.
- Manage the distribution and collection of course materials, tests, and rosters.
Education/Experience/Qualification:- At least ten years’ experience in Federal Acquisitions, including at least five (5) years of experience as a Contracting Officer with an Unlimited Warrant.
- Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of two years professional instructor experience delivering Federal acquisition-related subject training.
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust certification.Location: Virtual. Instructors are required to be located within the United States. Work Schedule: As discussed during the interview.
