We here at Littera are on a mission to help students connect with tutors.  We are the first software platform designed to help K-12 schools and districts design, deliver, and monitor their tutoring programs.  Our team is rapidly growing and we're looking for people wanting to get engaged in solving tough problems.  Are you up for the challenge?  Then come join us.  This individual will be the primary point of contact for end-user support, ensuring seamless access and functionality across all platforms. The IT Support Specialist will also play a key role in maintaining compliance with security standards (e.g., SOC2).

What’s it like to work here:

This role will provide comprehensive IT support to our distributed off-site teams, ensuring their technology needs are met seamlessly. Additionally, this position will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our corporate security measures, website functionality, and other essential IT infrastructure.

 

What you need to succeed in this role: 

  • Google Workspace Administration:
    • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls (ACL groups) within Google Workspace.
    • Maintain SAML integrations for single sign-on (SSO).
    • Provide first-line support to end users for Google Workspace issues.
  • Website Maintenance
    • Maintaining a Wordpress website using DIVI
    • Updating plugins and securing the website
  • License Management:
    • Oversee software license allocation and renewals.
    • Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements.
  • User Management Across Systems:
    • Maintain user accounts and permissions across all corporate and IT systems.
    • Streamline onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring proper access provisioning and removal.
    • Provide timely assistance to users with access issues.
  • VPN User Management:
    • Ensure secure remote access for authorized personnel.
  • User Audits and Security:
    • Conduct regular user audits to verify appropriate access levels.
    • Monitor security logs and alerts to identify potential threats.
    • Implement and update security measures in alignment with SOC2 compliance requirements.
  • SOC2 Compliance:
    • Assist in the maintenance and updating of SOC2 documentation and controls.
    • Stay abreast of changes in SOC2 requirements and adapt IT processes accordingly.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in IT support or a similar Technology role.
  • Proven expertise in Google Workspace administration (including SAML).
  • Strong understanding of user management principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with SOC2 compliance standards and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with end users and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Organized and detail-oriented..
  • Enthusiasm to learn and grow.

Hours of work:

We're a remote first company that works typical Monday through Friday hours.  Since we like to get together, we ask that you'll be flexible for travel up to 5% for team events.
